Naomi House Children's Hospice

The Naomi House and jacksplace hospices for children and young adults provide care and support to young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families, from across the Central South. These invaluable services, which are provided to patients and families free of charge, include palliative and respite care, end of life and emergency care, as well as bereavement support to parents and siblings for as long as the family needs it.

Based in the Hampshire town of Sutton Scotney, just outside Winchester, these purpose-built hospices are run by a dedicated team of health professionals and volunteers whose expertise and compassion combine to create a home from home environment where patients can receive medical care and emotional support throughout the good days, the bad days and the last days of their young lives.

Having a seriously ill child, brother or sister can have a devastating effect on families. So Naomi House's experienced Family Support Team offers practical, emotional and spiritual support for the whole family, throughout the child's life and after death. These services can include one-to-one meetings in the family home, meetings with siblings' teacher and one-to-one sessions with siblings during their stay at Naomi House. They also organise social events, designed to provide opportunities for families to meet others with similar experiences.

It costs around £5million a year to provide these services to families from Berkshire, Dorset, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, West Sussex, Surrey and Wiltshire, and with no grants or financial support from central government, Naomi House and jacksplace rely entirely on donations from local people and businesses for 90% of their income.

Since 2004, CDD has been supporting Naomi House by donating our graphic design services, producing a variety of promotional collateral including banners, the quarterly Newsletters and Annual Reports. Managed through the Studio by our account management team and produced by our graphic designers and artworkers alongside client-paid work, we provide Naomi House with professionally produced artwork completely free of charge.

Our whole team is committed to providing a high level of service, to a cause in which we all strongly believe.
