Professionally taken photographs of your product will undoubtedly enhance the quality of your marketing or sales collateral and CDD has been involved in commercial photography for the last fourteen (14) years. Our offices in Southampton are equipped with a twelve hundred (1,200) square foot photographic studio, enabling us to support our own creative designers with in-house photography when professionally produced, original imagery is required.

We have recently switched to spot lighting, rather than flash, and this had made a very positive difference to the quality of our photography.

Our creative team design a lot of company literature, so we carry out a large amount of product photography. This type of work can cover three-quarter angle product shots that can then be cut-out in Photoshop or we can create backgrounds using a big selection of props and materials that offer colour, texture and depth to the imagery.

CDD has now mastered the art of three hundred sixty (360) degree photography and this is proving very popular for showcasing products that need to be seen from all angles - particularly useful when a product has several important features located in different places. Having set up a turntable to prop the product on, we then take seventy two (72) shots in rotation and put these images together to create a QuickTime file that offers an interactive video, with the facility for the user to allow the product to rotate automatically or to use on-screen controls. Clients will normally upload these files onto their website.

Food photography is also a speciality in our photographic studio and once commissioned, we normally work with a food stylist to help create mouth-watering images that can be used in printed literature, food packaging or online. Our Southampton photographic studio is fully equipped with a kitchen where food can be cooked and prepared, ready for our photographer and stylist to compose the shots.

CDD has an impressive portfolio of model photography, with the ability to conduct photoshoots in our studio where we have full control over the lighting or we can go on location for action or in-situ shots. We also have three (3) types of mannequin that be dressed and photographed to promote our clients' workwear or sports clothing.

Whatever the photographic service required, CDD has the skill and equipment to achieve stunning imagery. Our work takes us all over the UK but due to our photographic studio being based in Southampton, the majority of our work is located within a radius of one hundred (100) miles of our offices.
