FLOWMATION – The CDD digital asset management system

Supplying images couldn't be easier for CDD clients thanks to Flowmation, the new CDD Digital Asset Management solution. After considerable investment both financially and in allocation of internal resources, we are proud to announce the launch of this new CDD server based resource that will enable clients and their approved business partners to log on to our system and download any images that are contained within their library.

Using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), each client site is "skinned" to reflect the look and design of their own corporate identity or website and can therefore be seen as a seamless extension of the client's own online activity. The creation of a unique client URL will also enhance this visibility.

Each site is username and password protected and can have an unlimited number of users at any time. This enables clients to supply unique access codes to third parties to download required information - restricting their access to specific folders if necessary. Once done, that user can be removed from the list, therefore protecting the integrity and security of the site.

As well as loading client images, other assets such as Word documents, PDF's and many other file types can be loaded to the system.

Our sophisticated search engine enables the user to not only search the site by file name, but also allows Meta data embedded in to the file to be seen, thus enabling more detailed and refined searches.

However, Flowmation will extend well beyond this, enabling assets to be organised as projects which can be worked on by both local and remote project members whether they are CDD personnel, clients or suppliers.
Project tasks can be automated through workflows that are embedded within the system. By clicking on an icon, users can initiate these workflows. These may be small automation tasks such as sending emails or reminders, generating web forms, providing asset manipulation, asset upload, asset download and remote approval. Alternatively, they might be more complex, taking a business process and enabling this through the web. Flowmation gives complete control over the design of these workflow automations, enabling the creation of a project system that fits seamlessly into business processes.

This system has been designed with communication and ease of project management as the top priority and we see this becoming a real asset to both CDD and our clients.
